Selangor FC will continue their challenge in the Super League 2022 week 17 by facing Terengganu FC (TFC) at 9pm tonight at the MBPJ Stadium, Kelana Jaya.

This will be the first match under the management of Nidzam Jamil who was just announced as the Interim Head Coach on August 9.

The Selangor-born Interim Head Coach said tonight's match against The Turtles is not a revenge mission but instead, a mission to get three points.

"The team did a good job against TFC in the last FA Cup Semi-Final match but we have to accept that we unfortunately lost during penalties.. The interesting thing about football is that we have another chance to prove that the team is up for the challenge. It's not a revenge mission but we have to get the full three points no matter what the situation is. Thus, the coaching staff and I have prepared the team to be at their best.

Success is the benchmark for Selangor FC, so we try to make sure that all parties give one hundred percent for the fans because I'm sure they also want to improve their record against TFC. We will do our best to get the best result tonight," said Nidzam.

In terms of the availability of players for today's Super League match, the Selangor FC team will be unable to field Safuwan Baharudin who is still recovering from his 'mild traumatic brain injury'.
